Ferrochrome Powder

4. Packaging & Storage

  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse. Protect from moisture and oxidation. Avoid excessive stacking height.

5. Health & Safety

  • Health Hazards: Chromium metal powder is generally considered low toxicity, but hexavalent chromium compounds are hazardous. Avoid prolonged or significant dust inhalation.
  • Flammability: WARNING: Fine and ultra-fine FeCr powder can form explosive dust-air mixtures. Keep away from ignition sources and static electricity. Implement explosion-proof measures.
  • Protective Measures: Operate with dust masks, safety glasses, and protective gloves. Ensure good workplace ventilation.
